Stopped here for one night, bunch of noisy drunks hanging around the stairs that lead to our room. Go to take a relaxing shower, it hadn't been cleaned empty shampoo bottle and hair in it. No thanks not again. Not worth $76.00.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend America's Best Value Inn of New Philadelphia, OH. It had a 2-star rating on Hotwire, but I would give it a 1-star or less, if possible. I'm not picky about hotels -- simple is fine, as long as it's clean. This hotel was very old and worn and simply furnished, but everything about it just felt dirty. I couldn't bring myself to walk barefoot on the ancient carpet, which I'm not sure had been vacuumed. The formica table was missing part of its formica, the shower floor felt sticky, the water in the shower repeatedly ran hot-then-cold, and the cable TV was all pixelated. Based on this visit, I would never again choose to stay at either America's Best Value Inn or even a 2-star hotel, which I'd previously thought would be quite adequate. This hotel was really disappointing.
Room 118
Room had a funky smell. Bed was awful. Nasty parking lot. Went to Walmart and bought my own pillow and sleeping bag and slept in it on top of the covers that's how bad it is. Sketchy people walking around around late at night.
It stunk, the lock didn't work, and it was cramped. Bed was cheap and felt crunchy. Would never stay again
I am pretty sure the carpets haven't been shampooed in years. I felt grimy bare foot (after my shower I was not walking bare foot I assure you).
Shower head is 5'6" from tub floor! Seriously! I have never been in a shower were I had to bow so low.
Matrices are so old the springs are all you feel and they are loud. Terrible night sleep.
