Lack customer service skills, can't pay with credit card, topping options minimal, crust is dry & tasteless.

Worst. Pizza. Ever. Overall bland and without a lot of flavor, one topping left off that we ordered, and who ever heard of putting slices of yellow american cheese on pizza? The mushrooms were canned and soggy, the pepperoni lacked flavor and didn't crisp as it does on well cooked pizza, the crush look liked it was made from a pre-made store bought item. I've had better at WalMart.
I want to start off this review by saying I eat Zifer's (in Dover) all the time. Good food, good prices. This is specifically for the New Philadelphia (CARRY OUT ONLY) store. I called in 2 orders of rigatoni and was told it would be over an hour. I've worked in many food serving establishments.. I understand each is different, and have different capabilities and ways of operation. However, I also know over an hour for 2 pasta dinners is absurd. I came in after waiting 40 minutes just to make sure my food wasn't getting cold because they over-quoted the time it would take. They hadn't even put it in yet. Told me is was for 8 o'clock and they hadn't even started it yet.. like.. are ya kidding me? I could have ordered from the Dover store, drove over, drove home, and eaten before they even started on my order at the New Phila location. Pathetic.
Unique pizza unlike any other I've had the past 20 years. It's a thick, crunchy crust with cheddar cheese and red sauce and then your toppings. The salads, while not terribly fancy, are great with the house dressing. I suggest a pepperoni and hamburger pizza or just pepperoni to try. Carry out only.
